Better Golf Hire – Terms & Conditions

1. Payment & Deposit

The hire fee and refundable security deposit are payable via invoice and must be settled before collection or delivery of the hire set.

2. Security Deposit & Credit Card Details

Valid credit card details must be provided prior to collection or delivery as an additional security measure. These details are stored securely and will only be used in the event of loss, theft, or non‑return of equipment. Once the hire set is returned and inspected in good condition, the card details will be permanently deleted.

3. Return & Inspection

The security deposit refund process will begin within 48 hours of the equipment being returned and inspected, provided the clubs are in good condition.

4. Damage, Loss, or Theft

The hirer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment up to its replacement value. In cases of shaft or club breakage, loss, or theft, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit and, if required, charged to the stored credit card. A receipt or valuation will be supplied for any charges applied.

5. Wear & Tear

Normal wear and tear — including minor scuffs or scratches from regular use — is not considered damage and will not incur charges.

6. Equipment Care

The hirer agrees to take reasonable care of the equipment and store it securely when not in use. Equipment must not be lent, shared, or sub‑hired to any other person.

7. Early & Late Returns

Returning the hire set early does not qualify for a partial refund. Late returns incur a fee of $35 per set, per day. Partial days are counted as full days.

8. Liability Waiver

Better Golf Hire is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by the hirer or third parties while using the hired equipment. The hirer agrees to use the clubs safely and responsibly at all times.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled collection or delivery time. If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, Better Golf Hire reserves the right to retain the full amount paid.
